Octane crisis in the pump all day long after being stored!

Octane crisis was seen on Sunday (June 23) at petrol pumps in different areas of Dhaka. Many people did not get octane in several pumps. Octane drivers suffered from it. Meanwhile, there is no chance of increasing the artificial price by storing fuel oil, Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) said.

The company said the oil vessels are set to crowd at the port on July 7. The fuel that is now in the country will last more than five more days. As a result, there is no danger of creating any crisis.

Sources say the government coordinates the price of fuel on the last date of the month. But due to the Iran-Israeli conflict, some are artificially stored in the news that fuel oil vessels are delayed in the country. They think that since fuel oil is delayed in the country, prices may rise. However, from the idea that such an artificial crisis could be created, the government fixed the price of July this evening, leaving the price of fuel oil unchanged. That is, the government has confirmed that the price of fuel is not rising.

Since fuel oil is sold at the fixed price, there is no chance of getting higher prices even if it wants to comply. On the other hand, a party has spread that it is not possible to bring fuel oil, especially octane to the country for war. Some of the petrol pumps have stopped selling octane. Many people also think that they have created this crisis artificially in the hope of getting extra prices. Although BPC says, they have increased surveillance after knowing the matter.

However, Octane crisis has been seen in petrol pumps in different areas of Dhaka. Some pumps in the capital can be seen, there is no octane. Customers are coming back. Many are also showing anger.

Anik Islam, a resident of Mirpur, shared the ride. He said three pumps did not get oil today. I will not be able to run after the afternoon. What does it mean to close the oil in this way? Even before telling you.

Arif Hossain went to the office on a motorcycle. He said today I heard in the face of a friend, octane is not available. So I didn't get out of the motorcycle. I went to the office by bus. It is very difficult to go to something other than one's own vehicle. As well as the cost increases.

Asked why octane was not available at the pump, Bangladesh Petrol Pump and Tank-Lary Malik Unity Council Joint convener Mizanur Rahman Ratan told the Bangla Tribune that the government will coordinate the price of fuel oil today. We have heard that oil has been stored in some places in this news. Because of this, many pumps are not available in octane. However, there is no problem with other fuel oil. He also hoped that there would be no crisis from tomorrow.

Director of Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (Operation and Marketing) Dr AKM Azadur Rahman told the Bangla Tribune, “We usually have 3 days of oil in all the time.” Due to the war, the cargo has been delayed for five days. A cargo will arrive in the country by July 7. It may take two days to load it. But the crisis is not supposed to be now. Because there is enough stock in the dipogulo.

He said that the price could raise the price, some have been accused of storing oil on this issue. We are working on this. And the fuel prices that are adjusted every month are usually at the end of the month. This time it was evening. The ministry said the prices remained unchanged. So I hope there will be no problem from tomorrow.

Accordingly, the government has decided to keep fuel prices unchanged for July for July, the Ministry of Power Energy and Mineral Resources said.
