No concessions to Putin: Zelensky

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said the idea of making any concessions to Putin was unacceptable for Ukraine. He also felt that the whole matter would amount to suicide for Europe if concessions were granted.

On Thursday, Ukrainian media Pravda reported that Zelensky made such comments while attending the conference of the European political community in Budapest, Hungary. Claimed, Russia's war is much more intense now than before. Because North Korea has now entered the battlefield of Europe.

Recalling the European political conference held in the United Kingdom last July, Zelensky said that there was a lot of talk about the need to make concessions to Putin. He said, 'Some people present here think that Putin should be given concessions in Ukraine. This is unacceptable for Ukraine and suicidal for all of Europe.'

He also said, 'So what will happen next? Should Europe expect Kim Jong Un's sympathy to leave Europe? There is no strong leader who can build a united, strong and peaceful Europe, not even in imagination.'

At one stage of the speech, Zelensky also mentioned that peace requires strength. He said, 'The concept of peace through strength has time and again proved its reality and effectiveness. Now it is needed again and there should be no illusion that you can bring about a just peace by showing weakness or by the capitulation of any European country.'
