Chouddagram local journalists Emdad Ullah and Mizanur Rahman said Jasim was pushed to Chittagong Lane on the highway in Fakirbazar area of the upazila. He was the victim of the incident on his way home. Later, locals rescued him and took him to Chauddagram Health Complex with serious injuries, where doctors declared Jasim dead. The deceased Jasim has two young children. In his death, family members, including wife, children, are in his death.
Mohammad Jasim Uddin, officer -in -charge of Miabazar Highway Police Station in Chowdogram around 9pm, said journalist Jasim Uddin was injured in an unidentified bus collision. He died on the way to the hospital. The body of the deceased will be handed over to the family after the legal process. Efforts are underway to identify the escaped bus.
