BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir lost his temper while paying his respects at the tomb of party founder Ziaur Rahman. The incident took place at Ziaur Rahman's tomb in Sherebangla Nagar of the capital on Sunday.
Chittagong City Corporation Mayor Dr. BNP Secretary General went there along with the activists on the occasion of Shahadat Hossain's swearing in ceremony. On the way to the tomb, he was pushed by the crowd and almost fell down. Get angry at the activists at this time. At one stage, he is seen raising his hand on a worker. After paying tribute, Mirza Fakhrul spoke to the journalists. He said, 'There are various conspiracies going on in the country. Everyone should unite and face this conspiracy.'
Fakhrul urged to take care that the fascists cannot come back in the next parliamentary elections. He said, 'The way the students brought down the fascist government, they will never be accepted again.'
BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, Vice Chairman Barkat Ullah Bulu and others were present during the tribute.
