Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge has attacked UP CM Yogi Adityanath. He said that nowadays many leaders live in the guise of saints. Some have even become Chief Ministers. They wear saffron clothes and are spreading hatred.

At the Save Constitution Conference in Mumbai, Kharge said that if you are a leader then you should wear white clothes. If you are a sannyasi and wear 'saffron' clothes then stay out of politics. On one side they wear saffron clothes and on the other side they say that if you divide, you will be cut. He is spreading hatred among the people and trying to create division.

Regarding Maharashtra and UP by-elections, CM Yogi Adityanath is continuously giving statements that if you divide, you will be defeated. Opposition parties are continuously attacking BJP and CM Yogi regarding this. Now the Congress President has also replied on this.

The Congress President said, 'What does he mean? Who will you bite? Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi sacrificed their lives to keep the country united. This is Yogi ji's slogan. Modi ji says that if we are united then we are safe. I don't know what slogan would work, but you are one of those who killed those who gave us freedom.

Promise to remove 50 percent limit of reservation

Mallikarjun Kharge said that 'We have five pillars for the progress and development of Maharashtra, which are based on agriculture and rural development, industry and employment, urban development, environment and public welfare.' Releasing the manifesto, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that 'unemployed youth will be given a monthly stipend of Rs 4000. Our health insurance scheme of Rs 25 lakh was launched by Ashok Gehlot in Rajasthan and will be implemented in Maharashtra also. We also promise to provide free medicines. We have decided to conduct caste census and we will remove the 50% cap on reservation like Tamil Nadu.
