BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has left Dhaka's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport to visit London.
The special air ambulance sent by the Emir of Qatar carrying him took off at 11:46 pm on Tuesday (January 7). In between the flight will stop at Doha, Qatar.
Begum Zia reached the airport at 10:50 PM before boarding the plane. His convoy reached the airport through gate number eight. Then the car carrying him went straight to the plane. BNP standing committee members congratulated him there.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Standing Committee members Mirza Abbas, Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, Nazrul Islam Khan, Abdul Moin Khan, Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, Salauddin Ahmed, Selima Rahman, Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku and Hafiz Uddin Ahmed Bir Bikram were present on this occasion. .
When asked about this, a member of the standing committee said, “We greeted madam from the plane.” He was very cheerful. We are all prayer seekers. Madam exchanged greetings with us.
Members of the Standing Committee were staying at the airport till Begum Zia boarded the plane. After that, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir spoke in front of the journalists.
Shayrul Kabir Khan, a member of BNP's media cell, said that BNP's chairperson left home at 8:15 pm on Tuesday.
On the way, BNP leaders and activists wished farewell to Khaleda Zia. During this time, workers were seen holding national and party flags, Khaleda Zia's festoons and taking positions in various ways.
BNP Chairperson is going to London after almost seven years. The team and family expect him to arrive at London's Heathrow airport on Wednesday, Bangladesh time. His personal doctor officially in front of reporters on Monday. AZM Zahid Hossain said that he will be admitted to 'London Clinic' after reaching UK.
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia along with her doctors, family and work assistants are on the visit. A team of Qatari government doctors is on board.
