Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon continued on Tuesday ahead of the ceasefire.
The very next day after the ceasefire in Lebanon, Israel and Hezbollah are accusing each other of violating the agreement. Hezbollah MP Hassan Fadlallah said – Israel is attacking those returning to the villages adjacent to the border. Israeli tanks attacked areas near the border on Thursday.
According to Reuters, Hezbollah's central leadership issued a statement promising to continue opposing the Israeli enemy in support of the Palestinians. The statement said – Our fingers are kept on the trigger and we will keep an eye on the withdrawal of Israeli forces even across the border with Lebanon.
There was no direct mention of the ceasefire agreement anywhere in Hezbollah's statement. At the same time, Israel says that some suspicious people traveling in vehicles had reached the southern region of Lebanon.
Many areas in Lebanon's southern city of Nabatieh have been completely destroyed due to the war.
Ceasefire mediated by France and America
Recently, with the mediation of America and France, Israel and Hezbollah agreed to a ceasefire. After which Israel's War Cabinet approved a ceasefire deal in Lebanon for 60 days.
Just hours after the ceasefire began, people from northern Lebanon began returning to southern Lebanon. After Israel's deadly missile attack on September 23, thousands of families left their homes and went to seek shelter elsewhere.
According to the Times of Israel, hundreds of people were seen returning in Beirut on bikes and vehicles on Wednesday morning towards the cities of Sidon, Ghaziyeh and Tyre. People were returning to the city carrying Hezbollah flags and photos of slain leader Nasrallah.
Hamas also ready for ceasefire
After Hezbollah, Hamas is also ready for ceasefire. Senior Hamas official says that we have informed the mediators of Egypt, Qatar and Turkey that we are ready for a ceasefire agreement and exchange of prisoners.
