Talking to the officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it is reported that bilateral issues, including business, investment, attachment, agriculture, the movement of the people of the two countries at different levels, will be discussed. In the continuation of the meeting of the Foreign Secretary, Bangladesh will emphasize the mutual respect, understanding and common interests to take the relationship forward in the discussion level discussion. In recent times, it is important to address the unresolved issues in order to advance where the high -level communication relationship has arrived. On the basis of mutual respect and similar interests of the two countries, this relationship shall not exclude the three historical issues unresolved. The unresolved issues are formally apologizing for Pakistan for the genocide of the 1970s, the repatriation of the trapped Pakistanis and giving a fair account of Bangladesh on undivided resources.
When asked, Foreign Advisor Touhid Hossain told First Light, “Like many other countries, we are trying to establish a normal relationship with Pakistan. Where business, investment as well as the movement of people is being emphasized. In the past, there was an atmosphere of hostile relationships with Pakistan. We got out of there. There are three unresolved issues in the discussion table while having a normal relationship with Pakistan. ‘
