India was killed in a temple in Goa, India


During the annual Lairai Devi Jatra (Milan Festival) at the Shirgaon Temple in Goa, India, a horrific clash took place. At least six people were killed and more than six were seriously injured. The incident took place on Friday (May 2). Indian media reported NDTV.

During the religious rituals, the sudden panic spread when there was chaos. When people started running into the squad, the footsteps occurred.

Eyewitnesses said that the breathtaking situation was created in the public. People try to escape by pressing each other.

Police and emergency services reached the spot and started rescue. The injured were admitted to the nearby hospital.

Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant went to the hospital and met the injured.

Authorities have not yet confirmed the exact cause of this step. However, according to the initial report, the lack of additional crowds and proper reproductive system can be the main reason.

Shirgaon Yatra or Lirai Devi's journey is a Hindu religious festival held every year in Shirgaon village of North Goa. This festival is celebrated in the center of the goddess Lirai.

The special attraction of the festival is a unique manner called 'Agnidivya' (walking over the fire), where the devotees known as 'Dhond' walk on the bed of burning coal.
