Guindos says goodbye to the European Central Bank after eight years at the institution

The Spanish Luis de Guindos ends his eight-year term as vice president of the European Central Bank (ECB) this Sunday, and will be replaced by Croatian Boris Vujcic starting tomorrow Monday. Guindos was named number two of the ECB in 2018, which is why he left his responsibility as Minister of Economy that he had held since 2011, after being part of two PP governments of Mariano Rajoy.
