Mokhles Ur Rahman, Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration gave this information in a press briefing at his office in the Secretariat on Sunday (December 15).
He said, everyone from peon to cabinet secretary will get this expensive allowance. But it can have two steps. A little less for officers and a little more for employees.
In the press briefing, the secretary said, I want to give a good news to the government officials and employees, since the commission of pay is a long-term affair, in the interim, a Dearness Allowance Committee has been formed, in which I am also present. We will have the first meeting next week.
Mokhles Ur Rahman said that the government has agreed that the pensioners also get the benefit of this expensive allowance. A strategy will be worked out on how to fix maximum steps and minimum steps and steps for officers and employees.
It should be noted that according to the information of the Ministry of Public Administration, more than 1.45 lakh officers and employees are working in various ministries, departments, departments, offices, corporations and autonomous institutions of the government.
