Forensic audit decision on cash


A forensic audit will be carried out to find out irregularities and fraud in Mobile Financial Service Provider (MFS) company 'Nagad'. The matter was approved in the Bangladesh Bank's board meeting on Sunday (November 10).

Central Bank Executive Director and Spokesperson Husnay Ara Shikha confirmed this information. He said that several decisions were made in the board meeting on this day. Now, as per the rules, the Department of Posts will appoint an audit firm registered with the Central Bank, who will conduct a forensic audit of all operations from the inception of the cash till now.
