The luxury vehicle unit Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has appointed PB Balaji as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company. He will be the first Indian to hold the post. Balaji is currently the Chief Finance Officer of the Tata group group. He will take over the CEO of JLR, a Tata group company from November 2025.

The appointment was approved in the meeting of the board of directors of JLR on Monday. Tata Sons chairman N Chandrasekaran expressed happiness over the responsibility of JLR’s CEO to Balaji. Along with this, he also thanked Mardel. Balaji has a 32 -year global experience in vehicle and consumer product sectors.
