Professor Ali Riyaz, Vice -President of the National Unity Commission, said that the purpose of the Reform Commissions is to create a system in Bangladesh so that the fascist regime cannot be established again under any circumstances.
Ali Riaz said this while addressing a dialogue with Bangladesh Khilafat Majlis in the Parliament on Monday.
Regarding the purpose of the National consensus commission, he said that the rights of the people are established, so that the people can understand their rights are protected. In its context, initiatives have been taken to reform the state in various fields including constitution, judicial system, reform of the election system.
Referring to the oppression of the fascist period, Ali Riyaz said, “We have had the opportunity.” So that we can all create a system so that no one has to go into such experiences. May everyone enjoy their rights.
He also said that people can speak, do not face any obstacles in the field of lifestyle. Not a victim of disappearance. Not the victim of extrajudicial killings. Are not unjustly oppressed. The rule of law is established. The judiciary can independently help everyone to protect their rights.
