They were arrested on Friday night from Dumuria in Khulna and Mohammadpur in the capital as part of the investigation of the murder case on the night of November 24.
The arrested are, Md. Naeem Khan (22), Md. Zahidur Rahman Rifat (20) and Md. Abu Taher Shikdar alias Shawn (22).
In a press conference held at the DMP Media Center on Saturday (November 30), the police said that the arrested Naim and Rifat were the former tenants of the house, who had been involved in the murder of the former tenants of the house, who had been 'stealing' for 'raising capital' and 'filing money' with the owner for rent.
On the night of November 14, when unknown people entered the second floor of a house in Hazaribagh, Abdur Rashid, who was praying, had a 'clash'. At that time, when his wife Sufia Rashid tried to come forward from the next room, her face was held.
At one point Abdur Rashid was seriously injured when he was stabbed multiple times in the chest with a sharp knife. At that time, the miscreants ran away at the scream of his wife. Later, the seriously injured doctor, Abdur Rashid, was taken to Dhaka Medical College (DMC) Hospital where he died.
Abdur Rashid and Sufira Rashid are both doctors by profession and living in UK. They used to come to the country every September and stay at their home in Dhanmondi for a few months. All their families are expatriates.

In the press conference, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DC) of Ramana Division of DMP. Masud Alam said, during the investigation of the case, the perpetrators involved in the murder were identified by analyzing the footage of the CCTV cameras around the scene, collecting the information of the tenants living as maids in the house and with the help of technology.
In view of this, Naeem Khan and Zahidur Rahman Rifat were arrested from Shahpur Bazar area of ​​Dumuria, Khulna. Later, Abu Taher Shikder alias Shaon was arrested from Mohammadpur. The knife used in the murder was also recovered, according to Naim.
Based on the initial questioning of the arrested about the reason for the murder, he said, Naeem and Zahidur were living as tenants in a flat of that house, they left the house a month ago. They were angry because of their quarrel with the deceased's wife over rent arrears.
Besides, Naim and Zahidur planned to take money from that house by planning restaurant business. Accordingly, they climbed the boundary wall of the victim's house and entered the house along with Shaun.
When Abdur Rashid got up to pray Tahajjud, he felt the presence of the arrested. Later, when he tried to stop him, there was a scuffle and at one point he was stabbed to death.
