NRBC Bank Plc has joined as Deputy Managing Director (DMD) and Chief Business Officer (CBO). Shaheen Howladar. Earlier he served as Deputy Managing Director (Business) at NRB Bank Plc.
Shaheen Howladar, who has nearly three decades of experience in the banking sector, started his career as a probationary officer in National Bank Limited in October 1995. Later he served in various important positions in National Bank, Prime Bank Plc, Madhumati Bank Plc and NRB Bank Plc.
During his career, he has demonstrated expertise in various sectors including Corporate and Investment Banking, SME, Retail, Agent Banking, Agricultural and Rural Banking, Transaction Banking, Foreign Remittance, Foreign Trade, Offshore Banking, Special Asset Management and Branch Banking. Apart from this, he has also successfully performed various leadership responsibilities including Chief Distribution Officer, Chief Business Officer, Head of Business and Head of Branches.
Aiming to increase professional skills. Shaheen Howladar has participated in various trainings, seminars and workshops at home and abroad on credit risk management, project finance, customer relationship management, SME financing. He is well known for his professionalism, business acumen and commitment to sustainable growth and financial inclusion in the banking sector.
Shaheen Hawladar holds a Master’s Degree in Demography from Dhaka University and an MBA from the Department of Banking and Insurance of the same University.
