A nurse was brutally raped by two men in Jalaun, Uttar Pradesh, India. Not only that, after the rape, chilli powder was also sprinkled on the nurse's private parts. This incident happened on Thursday morning. This information is known from the report of Indian media NDTV.
The victim's family alleged that the woman was held by 4 other persons during the rape. The woman's family claimed that she was beaten with a stick and pepper powder was sprinkled on her private parts after the rape.
Local police said the woman had a relationship with a man and that man and his family members beat the woman. Police also said that a case has been registered based on the woman's serious complaint and investigation is underway.
The victim's husband said that his wife works as a staff nurse in an area under Churkhi police station. He was on his way to work on his scooter on Thursday morning when some people forcibly dragged him off the road and took him into the forest.
The woman's husband said, 'My wife is a nurse. He was going to work around 9 am. Later he called me and told me about the incident. A man, his nephew and a few others beat him up. Four held her and two raped her. He was beaten with sticks and pepper powder was also poured on his private parts. The police sent him to the hospital for treatment.'
Jalaun Additional Superintendent of Police Pradeep Kumar Burma said about the incident, 'After receiving information that a woman was beaten up, a police team rushed to the spot and rescued her and took her to the hospital.'
Pradeep Kumar also said, 'That woman had a relationship with a man from the same village. The man and his family members beat him up. The police took him to the hospital. He made some serious allegations. We have registered a case and investigation is on.'
