Dhaka University Chhatra Dal president Ganesh Chandra Roy Sahas said that the Chhatra Dal works by holding the sentiments of ordinary students. Chhatra Dal does not play politics by spoiling the educational environment.
He said this at a short rally before the sit-in program in front of the anti-terrorism Raju sculpture on Sunday (10 November) at 2 pm.
Earlier at 2.30 pm, Chhatra Dal took out a protest march from the central Shaheed Minar to protest the harassment of legal advisor Asif Nazrul in France and demand trial. The procession circled the entire campus and ended in front of the Raju sculpture.
At that time, Ganesh Chandra Roy said, 'We want to tell the general students that the Chhatra Dal is strong in its own strength and takes decisions by ensuring the overall environment of education. No one will be confused, we will take Bangladesh forward together.'
Demanding the trial of Sheikh Hasina, the president of DU Chhatra Dal said, 'Hasina, who fled after issuing a red notice, should be brought to the country and face trial.'
DU Chhatra Dal General Secretary Nahiduzzaman Shipon also spoke at this time.
