ChatGPT service disruptions around the world

Users of this platform have been facing problems due to the shutdown of ChatGPT services in various parts of the world today Thursday. Website problem monitoring platform 'Downdetector' reported that more than 10,000 users in the UK alone reported problems with the AI chatbot after ChatGPT was shut down.

Users reported that they received a message of 'Web Server Bad Gateway Error Report' while using ChatGPT. However, OpenAI, the company that owns ChatGPT, has not yet officially commented on this matter.

According to the BBC, various social media users are discussing the issue. Some are even trying to make light of the situation with jokes.

A person named Mustafa wrote on X, 'ChatGPT is down again? Is this in the works? So now I have to think?!'

As it turns out, the problem started from 5pm today, Thursday, and many users are still experiencing disruptions at the time of writing this report.

ChatGPT's status page on the service disruption said, 'The app is currently experiencing an increased rate of errors and we are investigating it.'

While the free version of ChatGPT is very popular, OpenAI also has a paid subscription option that charges up to $200 per month. The company's CEO, Sam Altman, said last December that currently 300 million people around the world are using ChatGPT on a weekly basis.

ChatGPT's issue comes at a time when other tech companies, including OpenAI, have pledged to invest $500 billion in Trump's proposed AI project in the United States.
