1. SEBI imposed a fine of ₹ 10 lakh on Axis Securities: Order to pay fine within 45 days, violated stock broker rules and regulatory norms
Security Exchange Board of India i.e. SEBI has imposed a fine of Rs 10 lakh on Axis Securities Limited. The penalty on Axis Securities has been imposed to violate the stock broker rules as well as other regulatory norms.
SEBI said in an 82-party order that brokerage firm Axis Securities will have to pay a fine within 45 days. SEBI said that Axis Securities failed to follow regulatory rules in many areas. These include reporting descriptions and not handling the client fund correctly.

2. Adani Group paid ₹ 58,104 crore tax in FY24: 25% more than 2023, presented transparency report for investors confidence
Companies of Adani Group have paid a tax of Rs 58,104 crore in FY 2023-24. This is 25% higher than the previous financial year i.e. 2023. In FY23, the group made a tax payment of Rs 46,610 crore. On Sunday, a tax transparency report was released by the Adani Group.
According to the report, 7 companies of Adani Group- Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone, Adani Green Energy, Adani Energy Solutions, Adani Power, Adani Total Gas and Ambuja Cements were the largest share in the total tax given to the government.
