More than 5 lakh people in Israel took to the streets against PM Benjamin Netanyahu. The main demand of the protesters is that there should be an independent and impartial investigation into the security lapse that occurred on October 7, 2023 and all decisions related to it.
Protesters are demanding clear accountability of officials responsible for security lapses, comprehensive reform of Israel’s security system and future strategy, and a national debate on leadership change in the country.
On the other hand, Israeli attack on Beirut for the first time since June, Hezbollah chief targeted: Israel launched an air strike on Hareth, a southern suburb of Beirut, for the first time since June, whose target was said to be Hezbollah’s Chief of Staff.
The attack resulted in one death and 21 injuries. Hezbollah warned that the action opened the way for an increase in attacks across Lebanon. Lebanese President Joseph Aoun has called for international intervention.

Hosting handover did not happen for the first time in G20: South Africa was angry over Trump’s absence, America said – it was not done right

The 20th G20 summit in South Africa ended without a formal handover on Sunday. South African President Cyril Ramaphosa did not hand over the gavel (hammer, the symbol of presidency) to any American official.
Foreign Minister Ronald Lamola said there would be no formal handover ceremony today. If America wants, it can collect documents related to G20 from the office of DIRCO (South Africa’s Foreign Ministry) from Monday.

Bangladesh again demanded to send Sheikh Hasina: Wrote a letter for the third time in a year, till now India has not responded.

The interim government of Bangladesh has once again sent an official letter to India to deport former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. In this, extradition of Hasina has been demanded. MD Tauheed Hussain, advisor on foreign affairs in the interim government, has given this information.
According to Bangladesh’s government news agency BSS, this letter was sent to India on Friday 21 November. It was sent through Bangladesh High Commission based in New Delhi.
According to Bengali newspaper Prothom Alo, Bangladesh has so far demanded the extradition of Sheikh Hasina to India thrice. Earlier, on 20th and 27th December last year, letters had been written appealing to hand it over to Sheikh Hasina. India has not yet given any answer to this. Read the full news…
