At this time, he expressed deep condolences to the families of the deceased newborns. He requested the hospital authorities to waive the medical expenses and hospital bills of the children as well as arrange for the bodies to be delivered to their respective residences.
On Wednesday (May 27) while talking to journalists, Professor Dr. Rafiqul Islam said that the mothers who were happily waiting to return home with their children, all their joy turned into sadness in this tragic incident. This is a very heartbreaking incident.
He also said that if there is evidence of someone’s negligence or negligence behind the incident, exemplary punishment should be taken against those concerned. At the same time, it is important to check whether there are any other newborns with similar complications in the hospital and ensure the necessary treatment quickly.
