This by-election semi-final before 2025
It is believed that this by-election is going to decide the outline of the upcoming 2025 Bihar Assembly elections. This is also being seen as a semi-final. In this election, the reputation of NDA alliance, Grand Alliance and Jan Suraj is at stake. Prashant Kishore has claimed that in 2025 he will win more than 200 seats. His party will win all four seats in this by-election.
At the same time, this election is a big challenge for Lalu Prasad Yadav's party RJD and the Grand Alliance. RJD has captured two out of four seats in Belaganj and Ramgarh. The biggest thing is that Surendra Yadav from RJD has been continuously holding this seat in Belaganj Assembly since 1990. After becoming MP, RJD has made Surendra Yadav's son Vishwanath Yadav its candidate.
On Ramgarh seat, the party has fielded Ajit Kumar Singh, son of RJD state president Jagdanand Singh. Before this, Sudhakar Singh was the MLA here. This seat has become vacant after he became MP. Now his brother has got a chance from here. Sudama Prasad Singh of CPI(ML) from the Grand Alliance has been the MLA from Tarari Assembly. In this by-election, CPI(ML) has fielded Raju Yadav.
This by-election is also a big challenge for NDA. Jitan Ram Manjhi was the MLA from Imamganj seat and in this by-election he has made his daughter-in-law Deepa Manjhi a candidate. He has used all his strength to retain his seat. All the leaders of BJP and JDU have been continuously camping on this seat. Apart from this, it is a big challenge to pull three seats Ramgarh, Tarari and Belaganj from the Grand Alliance and win them.
