Bangladesh-India relations will improve more: Assistant High Commissioner


In the context of Bangladesh-India relations, Indian Assistant High Commissioner to India Chandra Shekhar said, “Even if there is a rise and fall between relations between the two countries, this relationship will undoubtedly improve in the future.”

The Assistant High Commissioner said this while addressing reporters' questions at the celebration of International Yoga Day in Habiganj on Thursday morning.

Regarding the visa issuance, Chandra Shekhar said that Indian visa issues are underway. People are regularly applying and are getting visas according to importance.

Assistant High Commissioner inaugurated the International Yoga Day event organized by Swami Vivekananda Yoga Welfare Organization at the ISKCON Temple premises in the city. Local dignitaries and prominent people were present on the occasion.

Speakers at the event said that yoga exercises are very effective in keeping the body and mind healthy. Regular yoga is relieved of various diseases including hypertension, diabetes. If the new generation is accustomed to the practice of yoga, the nation will get a healthy and conscious citizen.

During this time, more than two hundred children, women and men show the techniques of yoga exercises.

It is mentioned that international Yoga Day has been celebrated in various parts of the world every year on June 28 every year.
