Environment, Forest and Climate Adviser Syeda Rizwana Hasan said, “There is no opportunity to look lightly at the attack on the coordinators on the Chittagong-Cox's Bazar highway and in the capital, where the top leaders of the anti-discrimination student movement were hit by a truck several times and attempted to kill them.” The way the coordinators are trying to unite the nation on various important issues, awakening their conscience, it will surely be in the interest of many. The issue of their security has been discussed in the cabinet.
Environment, Forest and Climate Adviser Syeda Rizwana Hasan said these things at a press conference organized at Foreign Service Academy in the capital on Thursday (November 28). Advisor Mahfuz Alam and Chief Advisor Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam were present at this time.
Rizwana Hasan said, 'The security they need has been discussed. However, no detailed decision has been made in this regard. Government agencies are investigating it.'
If there is a conflict between the students, it is resolved through discussion
Sayeda Rizwana Hasan called on the students and said that people have found a place of trust in them. Nothing should be done with petty disputes which may call into question the fight we have joined to uphold our national interest. May the nation's trust and confidence in students remain intact, grow and strengthen. For that, everyone including the students discuss with the government to resolve any dispute or problem.
Syeda Rizwana Hasan said that the issue of court security across the country was discussed in the advisory council meeting. He said, 'Everyone should be restrained, be patient. Your claim may be legitimate, but if your claim process becomes illegal, destructive, then you will not be able to fulfill your just claim. Today the Chief Justice also expressed concern. We ask everyone to refrain from such destructive and humiliating acts. If there is a complaint against someone, there is a platform to file a complaint, a complaint will be filed. A press conference will be held but no one will benefit by opting for a destructive process.'
Stating that the Ministry of Home Affairs considers it necessary to set up a police station in Suhrawardy Udyan, he said, “In view of the demands of the Ministry of Home Affairs, we have taken two weeks' time. We will sit for two weeks and see if this police station is suitable to be done here. Moreover, the Cabinet was informed about the meetings held by the Finance Ministry with the World Bank. And the decisions taken there are very positive for Bangladesh, the advisory committee has been told.
