The council had approved the draft law mentioned in principle in the general session held yesterday 1-07-2025, and began to discuss the articles of the draft law during today's session; Where he was permanently approved by voting, standing after the approval of the amendment submitted by the government on Article Eight of the draft law.
The draft law aims to achieve a fair and sustainable balance between the two parties to the rental relationship by addressing the imbalances resulting from the previous exceptional legislation that led to the low rental value and the absence of social justice, especially in light of the change of economic conditions.

Al -Fayoumi explained that the court set the end of the current regular legislative session of the House of Representatives to end the law and we in the Council will actually finish the law before this period.
