Arab Finance: Schneider Electric, the leading company in the field of digital transformation of energy management and automation, won the title of “the most sustainable company in the world for the year 2025” by Time magazine and Statista, according to the statement sent on July 15.
This is the second consecutive year in which Schneider Electric leads this list, which includes 500 of the most sustainable companies in the world.
This achievement reflects the continuous pursuit of Schneider Electric to achieve its sustainability goals, in addition to its commitment to supporting its partners and customers to become more efficient in using energy and reducing their carbon emissions.
The company continues to shed light on its constant progress towards its ambitious goals of sustainability in a transparent transparency, and these goals include a reduction in its carbon emissions by 25% through the entire value chain by 2030, and reaching a net zero -emissions through the entire value chain by 2050.
The company's path to achieve the net emissions of the approved zero emissions from the SBTI goal initiative (SBTI) and the Schneider Sustainability Program 2021-2025 (SSI) is a road map that enables sustainable progress, not only for the Schneider Electric and its partners, but also for its customers and local communities.

The classification evaluates 5,700 companies based on 20 main performance indicators, to finally choose 500 from the world's most sustainable companies. Selection and evaluation are based on several main factors, such as ranges 1 and 2, energy consumption compared to the size of the company, in addition to efforts to reduce carbon emissions, and the rate of use of renewable energy in operational operations.
External factors are also taken into consideration, such as external assessments and obligations related to sustainability, practices of preparing institutional reports with transparency, and indicators of environmental and social performance that reflect companies ’commitment to their societies and the environment.
Schneider Electric has also been chosen as the most sustainable companies in the world for 2025 by the Corporalate Knights, to become the only company that ranks first in its global list for the best 100 companies twice.
The French company was also chosen as the most sustainable in Europe and France by the institution itself.
