Arab FinanceEng. Karim Badawi, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, held a meeting with Eng. Ahmed Al Suwaidi, CEO of Al Suwaidi Electric, to discuss cooperation opportunities in the fields of mineral wealth andGreen energy And petrochemicals.
Badawi stressed during the meeting that the transformation of the Mineral Resources Authority into an economic body under the name “Mineral Resources and Making Industries” enhances its ability to attract investments and achieve added value for local and African wealth, stressing the Ministry's welcome to the participation of the private sector in these areas.
For his part, Eng. Ahmed Al -Suwaidi expressed the desire of Al -Suwaidi Electric Group to increase its investments in Egypt, especially in the fields of mining wealth such as phosphates and kaolin, through the establishment of transformational industries that contribute to maximizing the added value of these resources. He also stressed the group's interest in expanding research and exploration activities, the petrochemical industry, and green energy.
He pointed out that the group is currently working in more than 40 countries around the world, and it has a clear vision to enhance its investment presence in the Egyptian market during the coming period.
