The meeting witnessed constructive talks between the two sides on the areas of priority cooperation and opportunities to increase investments and trade, especially in the sectors of sustainable transport, the environment and green transformation, communications and information technology, agriculture, irrigation and food security.
Dr. Rania Al -Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation and the head of the Egyptian side in the Egyptian Joint Hungarian Committee, reviewed the joint relations between the two countries, which are witnessing continuous growth in light of the keenness of the two countries ’leadership to advance relations, and based on an extended history of economic relations that reflected on the volume of trade exchange and investments between the two countries.
Dr. Rania Al -Mashat affirmed Egypt's commitment to strengthening relations with the Hungarian side and establishing firm foundations for a strategic partnership based on mutual respect and common interests, and the ambitious vision of the future, noting that Egypt over the past years has made great progress in many economic sectors such as infrastructure, communications and information technology, food security, and the transition to the green economy, which enhances aspects of cooperation with the side The Hungarian opens the door for more joint investments.
