In response to the ever-increasing number of people buying and selling accounts in response to posts on SNS and participating in crimes, the National Police Agency’s expert panel has compiled a report that calls for tougher penalties for account buying and selling. The National Police Agency aims to submit a bill to amend the law to the regular session of the Diet, which begins in January at the earliest.
