New Delhi. Middle order batsman Raghavi Bisht played a militant innings of 93 runs. While lower -order batsman VJ Joshitha (51) finally scored a brilliant half -century. Due to which India A scored a competitive score of 299 runs in the first innings against Australia A on the second day of the only female informal Test on Friday. After this, India A took five wickets till 158 runs till the end of the day’s play.

India A team was in trouble after scoring 93 runs for five wickets on the first day affected by the rain. But Bisht played a 64 -run partnership for the sixth wicket with Radha Yadav (33 runs), playing ahead of the score of 26 runs last night. After this, he barely took out India by sharing a 75 -run partnership with Meenu Mani (28 runs). Bisht, who batted brilliantly with the tail batsmen, hit 16 fours in his 153 -ball innings, but missed a century by just seven runs. Medium -speed bowler Maatlan Brown bowled him in the 63rd over. Joshitha and Sadhu did not accept defeat

But Joshitha and Titas Sadhu (23) did not give up and made India A close to 300 runs by making an important partnership of 75 runs for the ninth wicket. Off -spinner Lily Mills bowled Joshitha. This Indian batsman crossed the ball seven times in the 72 -ball innings. For Australia A, medium -speed bowler Georgia Prestige took 37 runs and Brown took three wickets for 65 runs.

Australia A scored 158 runs
In response, Australia A team was struggling by losing five wickets for 158 runs in 43 overs. For India A, medium-speed bowler Saima Thakor (two wickets for 21 runs) and left-handed spinner Radha Yadav (two wickets for 40 runs) took two wickets each while Sadhu (one wicket for 27) took one wicket. Captain Tahilila Wilson scored 49 runs and added 46 runs for the first wicket with Rachel trainman (21).
