- Aerial Firing During Independence Day Celebrations In Pakistan; 3 Killed Including An 8 year old Girl, Over 60 Injured

On the occasion of Pakistan’s Independence Day, 3 people have died in aerial firing during celebrations in Karachi. Those who died include an 8 girl and an elderly. Apart from this, more than 60 people were injured.
According to local officials, people were celebrating independence on the night of 13 and 14 August in different areas of the city. In many places people fired aerial firing, causing innocent people to target.
This is not the first time that people have lost their lives due to firing on the occasion of happiness in Karachi.
In January 2025, 42 people died in different incidents of firing in the city, including 5 women. 233 people were injured, many of whom were stray bullets.
Of these, 5 people died during the robbery, while the rest died due to mutual dispute, enmity and aerial firing.
