Giano is one of the few Roman gods without equivalent on the Greek Olympus, the guardian of beginnings and transitions, a body with two Siamese heads capable of observing the future and interpreting the past at the same time. Yi He (China, 39 years old) and Richard Teng (Singapore, 56 years old), co-CEOs of Binanceare a sort of Giano in the crypto pantheon. A pioneer in the sector and a seasoned leader in regulation, called upon to turn the largest cybercurrency exchange platform into a giant of everyday finance and move it away, for now without much success, from the mud whose mud has left it outside of Europe.

Binance hosts on its platform most of the stable cryptocurrency issued in March 2025 by World Liberty Financial, Donald Trump’s family company. The American president embraced crypto culture after initially being critical and in October last year pardoned Chengpeng Zhao.
