Memorandum of understanding signed between BNP and Communist Party of China


A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and the Communist Party of China (CPC).

The memorandum of understanding was signed at the State Diaoyutai Guest House in Beijing at 9:30 a.m. local time on Thursday.

Adviser to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs and BNP’s Joint Secretary General (International Relations) Humayun Kabir and Minister of International Affairs of the Communist Party of China Liu Haixing signed the MoU on behalf of the BNP.

Information and Broadcasting Minister Zahir Uddin Swapan, Water Resources Minister Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Anyi, Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister M Rashiduzzaman Millat and the Chinese Ambassador in Dhaka were present at the time.

It should be noted that this is the first memorandum of understanding between the BNP and the Communist Party of China.
