Amir Shafiqur Rahman of Jamaat-e-Islami has expressed deep grief and condolence over the tragic bus accident at Rajbari’s Daulatdia Ferry Ghat. He gave this condolence message in a post on his verified Facebook account on Wednesday.
Jamaat Amir said, I call on the concerned authorities to quickly complete the rescue operation and find out the real cause of the accident and take effective measures to prevent such incidents in the future. At the same time, urgent and visible action by the government is needed to ensure order and safety in the transport sector.
He expressed his sincere gratitude to all the rescue workers including the fire service who worked tirelessly during this difficult time.
Shafiqur Rahman urged, let us all stand beside the victims and pray to Almighty Allah to protect us all from this kind of danger.
