Prime Minister’s Political Advisor Mirza Abbas has been admitted to the National University Hospital in Singapore for advanced treatment. Until writing this report on Sunday evening, the specialist doctors of the hospital have conducted several tests on Mirza Abbas.
Shayrul Kabir Khan, a member of BNP’s media cell, said that Mirza Abbas’s physical condition is stable so far.
Earlier today, the air ambulance departed from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 11:30 am. Mirza Abbas is accompanied by his wife Afroza Abbas, son Yasir Abbas and Evercare Hospital doctor Zafar Iqbal.
Mirza Abbas was brought to Evercare Hospital in the capital after falling ill during Iftar on Wednesday. He was then being treated under the supervision of a medical board consisting of neuro specialists. While undergoing treatment in that hospital, Mirza Abbas underwent brain surgery. After that, his treatment continued under close observation.
