Washington intends to control the entire oil production of Venezuela, which has the largest untapped reserves in the world, and to «Anger» the decisions of the Venezuelan authorities. Donald Trump announced Tuesday evening on his network, Truth Social, that the country would, immediately, “return between 30 and 50 million barrels” in the United States, the equivalent of approximately two months of production: “This oil will be sold at market price, and the money collected will be managed by me, as President of the United States of America, to ensure that it is used for the benefit of the people of Venezuela and the United States!” » The president specified that the money released would be invested only in American products.
