Ham radio operators from India-Bangladesh discovered the missing young woman 5 years ago

A group of ham radio operators in India and Bangladesh have been found in Bangladesh about eight years ago from the Islampur subdivision of North Dinajpur, India. According to the Indian Express report, a local volunteer and ham radio operator Mohammad Abdul Ghani Fitu first saw the young woman at the Golabari railway station in Chapainawabganj district.

He said, 'The girl was wearing clothes, a symptom of illness in the body. With the help of the locals, I rescued him and feed him and first aid. Later he said his name – Sarama Khatun (25). He also gives an address in India. Then I was surprised and contacted the Ham radio operators I know in India. '

Abdul Ghani then contacted West Bengal Aumecher Radio Club Secretary Amberish Nag Biswas. Amberish Nag said, “Ghani sends me a picture of the girl, then we identify the family of the girl with the help of a local panchayat member through the ham operator Sanjeev Sharma in Islampur. On July 7, we found out that the girl's father Shukur Ali and mother Rohida Bibi were resident of Golabari village of Chopra in North Dinajpur district.

Ham radio operators later contacted his family with Sarama Khatun in the video call. His mother Rohida Bibi broke into tears after seeing the girl. He said, 'We assumed, the girl is no more. After missing eight years, when I saw him on the phone, I talked, it was not believed! Now just want, and he will come back home safely. We have informed the police with the help of the Panchayat. '

Golabari village panchayat member Mohammad Jalaluddin said, “Sarma is the daughter of our village. We will make all kinds of arrangements to bring him back. In the meantime we are preparing to contact the district administration. His family also sought refuge in the police. '

Meanwhile, Mohammad Ghani, who found the surplus, said, “We have already informed the local police station and the administration and submitted the identity card of the girl and her family. Now he is in our shelter, but soon he will be sent to a government residence of the Government of Bangladesh. There will be a test of his mental state. The next step will be returned by the Bangladeshi border guards if the formal appeal is made by the Government of India. This is the traditional process. '

In this regard, Amberish Nag Biswas said, “We have already informed the North Dinajpur district administration in writing with the necessary documents. The girl's family will also appeal to the administration. '
