Bangladesh Jamaat -e -Islami has called for a national election program before next Ramadan. Jamaat -e -Islami Amir Shafiqur Rahman said this after a meeting with Foreign Minister Nicole Harik, South and Central Asia, at the US Deputy Head of Mission residence in Gulshan on Wednesday afternoon.

Shafiqur Rahman also said, “Waiting till June, rain, storms, various types of natural disasters will come. Then there will be the possibility of not being the election. We want that fear before Ramadan before that fear. '
Jamaat's Amir said, 'We have open discussions with them. If we get the responsibility of the country in the coming days, we want to know what the economic policy and foreign policy will be. They talked about Minority, Women Rights, Labor Rights. '
Shafiqur Rahman said, “We have requested them that our country is passing an important time. The 5 percent tariff imposed by the United States at this time should be reconsidered. We hope they will do so. '
Jamaat's Amir also spoke at the meeting about the Awami League trial. “We have also talked about the trial of the Awami League,” he said. But that is about justice. '
