Microsoft is adding the new 'Action' feature to the AI or artificial intelligence chatbot co-pilot. With this feature, co-pilots will now be able to work like restaurant reservation, event ticket booking and buying products for friends and shipping.
The action feature can be used using a normal chat prompt, which will work in the background. As a result, users can do another job online.
The launch partner of this feature is Booking.com, XPDIA, Kayak, Tripadviser, Skycaner, Viater, VRBO and Prylaine-whose services will help users to plan the upcoming travel plan. In addition, 'Open Table' will also have the benefit of buying flowers from reservation and 1-5 Flower.com. At the end of the event, it recommends 'way to return home', which will probably support the taxi or ride sharing service.
Microsoft claims that Copilot's Action Feature Web will work with most websites.
In addition, the co-pilots will also have other personalization features. Such as: turning online content into AI-generated podcast, buying products and finding deals to find the ability to view co-pilots using the tool and camera. However, Microsoft did not explain how the action feature would work.
Meanwhile, the 'Nova Act' AI agent has launched AII agent last March, which will be able to work online from the browser. For example: web search, buying products and information on the screen can answer. On the other hand, OpenAI operator, Google's Project Mariner has similar benefits. In addition, last October, anthropic Clod 4.1 Sonnet AI model also featured experimental online work.
Such services of other companies are still in the initial examination phase. However, Microsoft has claimed that their co-pilot action feature has been launched from today and it will expand a few weeks and months. This new feature indicates that such automatic AI partner tools will be more effective and reliable in the future.
