Upazila Workers League president Sheikh Atiar Rahman (1) was arrested in a special operation of the Chitlmari police station in Bagerhat. He was sent to court on Thursday.
Earlier on Wednesday, he was arrested from Fazul Talukdar's tea shop in Sadar Bazar in an explosive case at around 7:30 pm.
Asked about this, Officer -in -Charge of Chitlmari Police Station (OC) SM Shahadat Hossain told Today's newspaper that there was an explosive case against Sheikh Atiar Rahman arrested at the police station. He was sent to court at 9pm on Thursday.
