The election of the Executive Council of BIJF for the term 2024-26 was held from 9 am to 4 pm in the conference room of Vision-2021 Tower in Karwan Bazar of the capital today.

A three-member BIJF Election Commission formed with former president of Bangladesh Computer Association SM Iqbal as Chief Election Commissioner conducted the election. The remaining two members were Prothom Alo Pallab Mohaimen and Sarabanglar Md. Suman Islam. Mehdi Hasan of Parbatya News.com and Ubaidullah Badal of Kal Kantha were members of the appeal board. Officials said that the final result of the election will be announced on Monday at 4 pm.
