Bangladesh Awami League has announced a victory procession at the organizational district and upazila levels of the country along with paying tribute at the National Memorial tomorrow on the occasion of the Great Victory Day. This message was given on the verified Facebook page of the party on Sunday.
The announced program states—
1) Tribute at Savar National Memorial.
2) Tribute to the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in the premises of the historical Bangabandhu Bhavan number 32 of Dhanmondi.
3) Tribute at the tomb of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the nation, who is in eternal sleep at Tungipara of Gopalganj district.
4) Discussion meeting on the occasion of Great Victory Day.
5) Organization of victory procession and victory fair on any auspicious day of the month of great victory at organizational district and upazila level.
Apart from this, in line with the central program of Bangladesh Awami League, similar programs are being called for at the organizational district and upazila levels.

On this day in 1971, the independence and sovereign nation of Bangladesh emerged on the world map after achieving the final victory in the 9-month bloody liberation war led by the leader of the liberation war, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, and under the elected government led by the Awami League. The Bengali nation was freed from the curse of subjugation by the self-sacrifice of 30 lakh martyrs and the sacrifice of 2 lakh mothers and sisters and the self-sacrifice of crores of Bengalis and the glorious story of public heroism.
