The anti-discrimination student movement held a protest march in Mirpur to counter the Awami League mass gathering on Sunday (November 10) on the occasion of Martyr Noor Hussain Day.
The students protested on the main road of Mirpur on Saturday (November 9) at 10:15 pm. At that time, they said that they were continuously in the field from 9 am to 4 pm on Sunday.
Anti-discrimination student movement leader Md. Sayem said, based on secret information, we have come to know that Awami League people have gathered in Pallabi. Secretly they are trying to get out from different places, hence our protest march.
He said, my brother is dead, sister is dead. We will not allow Awami League to do politics over their blood. Wherever Awami League goes, we will resist them.
