BNP Standing Committee member Dr. AZM Zahid Hussain said that the fascists are conspiring to create unrest in different guises and under different names. They want the interim government to fail. Wants to create a constitutional vacuum. The conspiracies of these evil forces must be countered through the unity of the people.
He said these things in the chief guest speech at a discussion meeting at the National Press Club on Tuesday (November 5). Voice of Times organized this discussion titled '7th November Revolution and 5th August People's Uprising: People's Aspirations'.
Dr. at the discussion meeting. Zahid Hossain said, 'Today, various organizations are protesting on the streets to get their demands. Ansar is entering the secretariat. The students are barricading roads and protesting at various places including the Chief Adviser's residence. Saying that the rights have been taken away, they have been discriminated against. Where have you been so far? You have not been seen anywhere for so long.'
He said, 'The mass uprising of the students did not happen with the single effort of any party. All the people of Bangladesh have made this revolution. The mass unity we have today, which happened on November 7, 1975. If there is this mass unity and if we can hold on to what happened on August 5, no matter how many conspiracies against Bangladesh will last.'
BNP Joint Secretary General Khairul Kabir Khokon was the main discussant in the program under the chairmanship of Mohammad Farooqul Islam, Dhaka Journalist Union President Shahidul Islam and others spoke. The meeting was moderated by Abu Zafar Mohammad Saleh and others.
