Malegaon Blast Case: The court hearing the Malegaon bomb blast case has received a threat. Mumbai's special NIA court and its judge have received this threat. An officer said that the caller threatened to kill the judge hearing the case. Let us tell you that this call came to the Registrar's Office of the Sessions Court during the Diwali vacation, after which the Colaba Police is investigating the matter. NIA is also investigating in this matter. However, it is not yet known who has given the threat.
On 29 September 2008, a bomb kept in a motorcycle exploded in Malegaon. Six people were killed and 100 people were injured in this incident. It has been 16 years since this incident happened but till now this matter has not been solved.
Till now several rounds of hearing have taken place in this case. In the month of October, Pragya Thakur, the accused in the case, had claimed that banned organization SIMI could be involved in this. Pragya Thakur's lawyer had told the court during the hearing that after the explosion, local people stopped the police from reaching the spot. Maybe they are trying to protect SIMI members. The lawyer had said that whenever such an incident happens, the local people help the police but in this case the police were pelted with stones by the local people.
The prosecution is demanding this
At the same time, recently, lawyers Sharif Shaikh and Shahid Nadeem, appearing on behalf of the families of those killed in the blast, had presented written arguments before the NIA court and said that the prosecution has proved the case without any doubt. In such a situation, maximum punishment should be given to the accused.
