3 US-Bangla women workers received Aviator Women’s Icon Award


Three women employees of US-Bangla Airlines have been honored with the Aviator Women’s Icon Award 2026. State Minister of Civil Aviation and Tourism Rashiduzzaman Millat was present as the chief guest at a Women’s Day event at a community club in the capital on Saturday.

Awards were given to 10 women workers for setting exemplary examples in various segments of the airlines and tourism sector. Mukta Waheed, Manager of Cabin Service Department, Moushumi Akhtar, Assistant Manager of Customer Service Department and Farhana Yasmin, Senior Executive of Sales and Marketing Department were awarded as Best Trainer from US-Bangla Airlines for their contribution in their respective fields.

Aviation and Tourism Journalists Association of Bangladesh (ATJFB) organized the Aviator Women’s Icon Award ceremony. Chairman of Bangladesh Aviation Authority Md. Airways Marshall was present at the event. Mustafa Mahmud Siddique, CEO of Bangladesh Tourism Board Nuzhat Yasmin, former chairman of Babychak Air Vice Marshal (Retd.) Md. Mofidur Rahman, ATJFB President Tanzim Anwar, Secretary Baten Biplab and other guests.
