BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi commented that 18 crore Bangladeshis are ready to resist Delhi's aggression. He said, “If you can claim Chittagong, then we will also demand that our Nawab Sirajuddaula's Bengal-Bihar-Orissa be returned.”
He said these things while taking part in a march towards the Indian Embassy and handing out a memorandum in front of the BNP central office in Nayapaltan on Sunday morning (December 8) in protest against the 'attack on the Assistant High Commission of Bangladesh in Agartala, desecration of the national flag and conspiracy to stop communal riots'.
Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said, 'Their (India's) arrogance has reached such a level that they will claim Chittagong as a part of India. All this empty noise will do nothing. We are not completely despondent, not helpless. We also know how to use the highest technology. To protect our resources, the power of our armed forces in every place in the sky, under the earth, is not less.
Rizvi said, 'Bangladesh is our country of 18 crore people. We are all ready to resist Delhi's aggression.'
He said, 'Our program is peaceful. We will do this march in an orderly manner. India is doing various conspiracies. We are for peace.'
Also present in the procession are Jubo Dal President Abdul Monayem Munna and General Secretary Mohammad Nurul Islam Nayan, Volunteers Dal President SM Jilani and General Secretary Rajib Ahsan, Chhatra Dal President Rakibul Islam Rakib and General Secretary Nashir Uddin Nashir.
