UP By Election 2024: There does not seem to be any coordination between the NDA regarding the by-elections to be held on 9 seats in Uttar Pradesh. Nishad Party is adamant on the demand of two seats in the by-election. Regarding this, a big meeting was held at BJP headquarters late night on Tuesday (22 October) between party president JP Nadda and Nishad Party President Sanjay Nishad.
Quoting party sources, it has been said that BJP National General Secretary Sunil Bansal was also present in this meeting. However, even after this meeting that lasted for about an hour, no conclusion has been reached regarding the UP by-elections.
Sunil Bansal will become 'Trouble Shooter'
Seeing the seriousness of this issue emerging in the NDA before the UP by-elections, BJP President JP Nadda has handed over the responsibility of resolving the entire issue to the party's national general secretary and former organization minister of Uttar Pradesh, Sunil Bansal. Under which there will once again be a meeting between Sanjay Nishad and Sunil Bansal at the party headquarters at 10.30 am.
In this meeting, efforts will be made to end the tussle that broke out in the NDA before the UP by-elections. Nishad Party is demanding two seats out of the 9 assembly by-elections to be held in Uttar Pradesh. Nishad Party wants its candidate in Kathari and Manjhwa assembly of Uttar Pradesh.
BJP ready to give one seat, but kept this condition
At the same time, Nishad Party has been offered Manjhwa seat by BJP. However, this seat is also being given under one condition only. The condition is that the candidate of Nishad Party will contest the political arena on the election symbol of BJP. Sanjay Nishad is not ready to accept this condition.
It is believed that BJP's trouble shooter Sunil Bansal has been appointed to resolve this issue in the meeting to be held on Wednesday (23 October). Who will sit with Sanjay Nishad and try to find a middle path.
