After winning the US presidential election, Donald Trump is busy forming his team to run the government. After appointments on some posts, he has handed over big responsibilities to Tesla Chief Elon Musk and Indian-origin industrialist Vivek Ramaswamy.
Musk and Ramaswamy will lead the Department of Government Efficiency (DoGE). Donald Trump has issued a statement regarding this.
Trump said-
I am pleased to say that these two amazing Americans will work for my Administration to slash bureaucracy, cut waste, eliminate unnecessary regulations, and reorganize federal agencies. This is important for his 'Save America' agenda.
Trump said in the statement that this system will create panic among the people who waste government money. Republican leaders have long dreamed of pursuing DOGE's goals. DoGE is a new department which will advise the government from outside. Trump also said that the responsibility of this new department will end on July 4, 2026.
Trump had proposed the formation of the DoGE in early September. Earlier in August, he had said that if he becomes President, he will consider giving Musk a cabinet post or an advisory role in his administration. After this Musk said that he is ready to handle this responsibility.

Mike Waltz is considered anti-China-Iran and pro-India. He has supported many bills related to reducing America's dependence on China.
Waltz has been a 'Green Beret Commando' in the Special Unit Force of the US Army and has also fought in Afghanistan with the Taliban. He had strongly opposed the Biden government's military withdrawal from Afghanistan. He has also served in the Middle East and Africa.

Rubio is also considered pro-India. He had introduced a bill in the US Senate in July this year, in which he sought to strengthen India-US relations and stop security assistance to Pakistan, accusing it of sponsoring terrorism.
